Refunds and cancellation
Last updated: 25 October 2026
When you get your money back, and how to cancel. This policy is part of our terms.
Our products are sold to businesses buying for business purposes. The 14-day cancellation right in the Consumer Contracts Regulations is for consumers, so it does not apply to business orders. If you are in fact buying as a consumer, your legal rights as a consumer are not affected. No VAT is charged: PriceMarketplace is not VAT registered.
To ask for a refund or to cancel, email inquiry@pricemarketplace.com with your order details. PriceMarketplace is a UK sole trader business at 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA.
Price Check and Contract Review
- Late delivery: if we do not deliver your written review within 3 working days from payment and receipt of a quote we can open, you are entitled to a full refund. Email us with your order details and we refund you, or you can wait for the review if you prefer.
- Your quote: it is your responsibility to give us a quote we can open (a PDF of up to 7 MB uploaded on our private upload page, or a view-only link). The 3 working days start when we have your payment and a quote we can open. If the file or link will not open, we email you promptly, and the clock starts when you send a working one. Until then the deadline has not started, so no refund is due for the delay.
- Cancelling: there is no refund if you cancel or change your mind, including before we start work, apart from the late-delivery and after-delivery cases on this page.
- Your uploaded quote: if your order is cancelled or refunded, your uploaded PDF is deleted automatically 60 days after you uploaded it at the latest, or sooner if you ask us to. See the privacy notice.
- After delivery: no refund once the review has been delivered, unless it has a material error or does not cover what you ordered. Tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will correct it. If we cannot, we refund you in full.
Subscriptions (Verified Provider, Category Sponsor, Headline Partner)
- Cancelling: to cancel, email inquiry@pricemarketplace.com before the renewal date and we will confirm by email. Cancelling stops the next automatic renewal. Your placement stays live until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Reminders: we email you at least 30 days before an annual renewal, and at least 7 days before a quarterly or monthly renewal.
- No part refunds for the rest of a period you have started, apart from the cases on this page.
- Forgotten renewal: if an annual or quarterly subscription renews and you tell us within 14 days of the renewal date that you did not mean to renew, we refund that renewal in full and remove the placement, as long as you have not started to use the renewed period (for example by sending new sponsor content or asking for a price update).
- If we can’t deliver: if a paid placement is not live for more than 7 days in a row because of a problem on our side, we extend your subscription by the time lost, or refund that part, whichever you prefer.
- Newsletter and report perks: if a newsletter issue or report included in your plan is delayed or is not published during a paid period, we extend your paid period to cover it (terms, B3).
- If we end your subscription without cause, we refund the unused part of the current period.
- If we remove a placement because you broke our terms (for example, misleading sponsor content), no refund is due.
- Unpaid invoices: if we have not been paid 14 days after a renewal payment fails or an invoice is due, we may pause your placement until it is paid.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 working days of us agreeing the refund. Your bank or card provider can then take a further 5 to 10 days to show it. We note the refund against the original receipt or invoice.
